The
Supervisory Board of Siemens AG has appointed Judith Wiese (49) a member of Siemens’
Managing Board, effective October 1, 2020. Ms. Wiese will serve as the company’s
Chief Human Resources Officer and the Labor Director of Siemens AG. In
addition, she is to head Global Business Services (GBS), which provides Siemens
units and external customers with a variety of company services such as
personnel and employee services, invoicing and payment processing, and event
management.

The
Supervisory Board of Siemens AG has appointed Judith Wiese (49) a member of Siemens’
Managing Board, effective October 1, 2020. Ms. Wiese will serve as the company’s
Chief Human Resources Officer and the Labor Director of Siemens AG. In
addition, she is to head Global Business Services (GBS), which provides Siemens
units and external customers with a variety of company services such as
personnel and employee services, invoicing and payment processing, and event
management.

Wiese, we’re very pleased to have gained an internationally experienced HR manager for the Managing Board of Siemens AG. Her appointment is also an
important step in shaping the management team of the realigned and focused
Siemens AG,” said Jim Hagemann Snabe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of
Siemens AG.
“Under
Ms. Wiese’s leadership, Siemens will rigorously enhance and expand new forms of
collaboration for the digital age. She also has strong expertise in the design
and implementation of strategic change processes,” added Snabe.
Judith
Wiese brings to her new role more than two decades of international experience
in a wide range of HR fields. Her core capabilities also include the
development and targeted application of agile work and leadership tools. Since
2017, she has been Chief Human Resources Officer at DSM, a Dutch company active in health, nutrition
and sustainable living.
Prior to DSM, she was
Vice President, People and Organization, at U.S. food group Mars Inc., where she worked for
20 years.
Judith Wiese studied at the International School of
Economics Rotterdam (Netherlands) and the University of Duisburg (Germany) and
holds an MBA in the areas of human resources and economics.
