Siemens driving setup of Infrastructure & Cities Sector
Effective October 1, 2011, the new Sector will manage Siemens' worldwide cities and infrastructures business from Munich. The organization is expected to be lean and efficient, because it will also be able to utilize the resources of company headquarters. In addition to the Center of Competence for Cities now being established in London, Siemens is creating two further centers of competence – in Asia and the U.S. The centers will provide the company with three extraordinary platforms for sharing ideas with customers and opinion-makers, thus strengthening its global sales structure.
