On October 22, 2021 the 1000th Vectron locomotive left the
plant at Munich-Allach, where the locomotives are built. The locomotive is
destined for Danish State Railways DSB. To date, Siemens Mobility has sold 1,122
Vectron locomotives to 57 customers in 16 countries. The Vectron fleet has so
far accumulated more than 500 million kilometers in service. The locomotives
based on the Vectron platform are approved for operation in 20 European
countries.
