67 Siemens wind turbines for the 402-megawatt (MW) project.

Siemens will manufacture, deliver, install and commission 67 Siemens direct-drive wind turbines rated at 6 megawatts (MW) each and equipped with a 154-meter rotor for the Dudgeon wind power plant. The installation will start in early 2017. The picture is taken at Westermost Rough wind power plant - the first large-scale commercial project featuring this type of turbine.

The Siemens D6 wind turbine

Siemens will install 60 SWT-6.0-154 wind turbines at the Arkona wind farm around 35 kilometers north-east of the island of Rügen.

Proven technology for an emerging offshore market

Ten Siemens SWT-4.0-130 wind turbines will supply clean energy for approximately 8,600 electrically heated Finnish households.

Siemens D3 wind turbines for the Les Gourlus wind farm

Siemens will supply twelve direct drive wind turbines with rotor diameters of 113 meters and a rating of 3.2 megawatts to the project in France.

HelWin1 connects the offshore wind power plant with the German power grid

Meerwind Süd/Ost is connected to the power grid by the HelWin1 link, which also links the Nordsee Ost wind power plant among others to the German power grid. With this connection it is possible to supply up to 360,000 German households with eco-friendly energy.

Offshore wind power plant Westermost Rough supplies 150,000 households

The wind power plant Westermost Rough is located only eight kilometers off the British east coast. The site consists of 35 Siemens wind turbines, which generate an annual total output of 210 megawatts, making it possible to supply more than 150.000 British households with eco-friendly electricity.

The Most Modern Offshore Technology – On Two Levels

This transparent image of the D7 wind turbine illustrates the spacious interior of the nacelle. Technicians can comfortably access turbine components from two separate levels.
