Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA), the world's largest 'premium aluminum' producer, and Siemens announced the first power services agreement for an H-class gas turbine in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the new 20-year service agreement, Siemens will provide maintenance and repairs as well as onsite personnel support for the gas turbine and its generator at the planned over 600-megawatt (MW) combined cycle project feeding EGA's Jebel Ali power plant in Dubai.

Siemens has received an order to supply the key components and long-term power generation services for the 840-megawatt (MW) Maisan combined cycle power plant in Iraq. CITIC Construction Co., Ltd., the Chinese engineering procurement and construction firm building the plant, and Iraqi developer MPC, part of Raban Al-Safina for Energy Projects (RASEP) awarded the contract valued at more than EUR 280 million to Siemens. The independent power project is expected to deliver first power by March 2021 and enter full combined cycle mode by early 2022. The plant will supply sufficient electricity to meet the needs of more than three million Iraqis, while also supporting the industrial sector.

Siemens Mobility and consortium partner ST Engineering Electronics Limited have been awarded an 18.8 million Singapore dollars contract by the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) to develop and implement a Rail Enterprise Asset Management System (REAMS). This digital program will be managed from the MindSphere Application Center in Singapore, one of Siemens' digitalization hubs. The facility was the first to integrate multi-disciplinary digitalization specialists from different Siemens businesses.

Siemens Mobility is the system integrator and
reliable partner for on time delivery of the city-shaping project Sydney Metro
– Western Sydney Airport, the new metro railway line that will service between
St Marys, the new Western Sydney International Airport and the
Western Sydney Aerotropolis. The company has been awarded
a contract to deliver 12 automated, driverless 3-car metro trains, a purpose built
depot, the digital rail infrastructure including signalling, electrification, telecoms
and platform screen doors as well as system integration, testing and
commissioning. The company will also complete a 15-year maintenance contract.
Siemens Mobility is delivering the turnkey project as a member of the Parklife
Metro consortium with its partners Webuild, RATP Dev, Siemens Financial
Services and Plenary Group, all with strong international experience in
delivering infrastructure projects. The Siemens Mobility portion of the contract is 900 million Euro.

Siemens
Mobility has been chosen by Metrolinx, the regional public transit operator
for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, to handle their track, signal, and right-of-way maintenance for the
Central Region of Toronto's passenger railway infrastructure system. This
partnership builds upon Siemens Mobility's existing maintenance services in the
West Region and signal and communications services at the Metrolinx Network
Operations Center.

acquisition of Yunex Traffic from Siemens Mobility for €950 million
Siemens Mobility has successfully
completed the sale of Yunex Traffic to Atlantia S.p.A. for €950 million. In
January 2022, Siemens had announced the contract signing to sell the Intelligent Road Infrastructure and Traffic Solutions
Business to Atlantia S.p.A. Following the required
approvals by the relevant authorities, the transaction has closed as of
June 30, 2022.

Siemens
Mobility is expanding its manufacturing and services facility in Munich-Allach
in order to meet the growing demand for locomotives and services. The factory
will be enlarged to 80,000 m2 from its current 50,000 m2
to provide additional capacities for processing new orders, optimizing
production and logistics flows within the facility, and add more office space.

Siemens Mobility is investing approximately €150 million to expand its service depot in
Dortmund-Eving to 87,550 m² to meet the growing demand for rail services.
Plans call for constructing an additional 12,300 m² service hall
with storage facility, offices, and workshops to handle the maintenance of
trains up to 400 meters long. Construction
of the new building is scheduled to begin in 2024 and be completed by 2026. The
Siemens Mobility depot in Dortmund previously had a total area of
70,000 m² and will cover 157,550 m² when the project is
completed.

presented the final design of the Mireo Plus, which will enter service on the Heidekrautbahn
and East Brandenburg rail networks in December 2024. Both the exterior and
interior design of the high-performance and sustainably conceived train reflect
the innovations that went into the climate-friendly hybrid drives as well as
the extensive added value provided by the equipment, passenger services, comfort,
and convenience.

Siemens Mobility is honored to announce that it has signed a contract with the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT), in witness of the Egyptian Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, as well as the German Ambassador in Egypt to deliver a comprehensive rail system that will feature the first ever high-speed, electrified main and freight rail line that will transform transportation in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Together with partners Orascom Construction S.A.E. and The Arab Contractors, Siemens Mobility will provide its comprehensive turnkey services to design, install, commission, and maintain the systems for 15 years. The total contract value is approximately USD 4.5 billion, of which Siemens Mobility’s share is around USD 3 billion. The vast majority of the order intake is expected to be booked in 2022 after financial closing. It is the first contract to be signed from the MoU agreed upon between NAT and Siemens Mobility, Orascom Construction and The Arab Contractors in January 2021.The
contract signed today covers the initial 660 km out of the 1800 km rail network
planned. Additionally, it was agreed to discuss and finalize
the agreements on the two other high-speed railway lines including rail
infrastructure and trains, and maintenance in the coming months.
