Nuremberg, November 14 to November 16, 2023
Additive manufacturing is
not, and should not be perceived, as an isolated industrial domain. It’s an
additional technology that can advance classical manufacturing. As companies
mature in the additive hype cycle the need for collaboration rises.
Hannover, April 17 to April 21, 2023
On
April 17, Cedrik Neike, Member of the
Managing Board of Siemens AG and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries, will
talk about the
solutions Siemens is developing for a smarter and more
sustainable industry. These solutions are needed in a world where industry is constantly confronted with challenges such as Covid, conflicts and last but not least, climate change.
Under the motto "Accelerate
Transformation", you will learn how industrial companies are working faster than ever to digitize and automate entire value chains. All with the aim of making them faster, more adaptable and more resistant.
Part of this process is the decarbonization of the industry, which requires a sustainable approach in all process steps. At our booth we will showcase how Siemens is using open standards to provide end-to-end solutions that help improve the sustainability of all process steps along the entire battery lifecycle. The goal: to minimize the carbon footprint, as well as to enhance resource efficiency through optimal utilization of materials required for battery production.

Under the motto "Intelligent intralogistics - experience the flow", Siemens will present at this year's Logimat in Hall 3, Stand D11, how a holistic digital twin is developed with the Digital Enterprise Portfolio. Simulation using a digital twin makes it possible to design applications and processes in intralogistics in a highly efficient, flexible and intelligent way. Siemens supports machine builders and operators of logistics centers on the path to digital transformation. The Digital Enterprise Portfolio offers an integrated product portfolio of software-based systems and automation technologies at the center of which is the digital twin. You can experience Siemens solutions and experts in person at the Logimat trade show booth in Stuttgart.
As the energy sector
races to meet the deadlines of the Paris Agreement, Europe is currently facing
an energy crisis: possible gas shortages, enormous energy costs and the
challenge of keeping the grids stable even in uncertain times.
Grid operators everywhere are looking for the best strategic approach to
speeding up their energy transition towards sustainability while at the
same time ensuring stability. But where – and how – to start?
There is no time to
waste: The increasing complexity of managing electrical grids needs fast
and sustainable answers, from planning through operations to
maintenance. The key to managing this intricacy is the convergence of
operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT). By embracing
this new way of solving grid issues, power utilities are
able to turn complexity into competitive advantage – easy, fast and
at scale.
Siemens Smart
Infrastructure is leading the change. To get a glimpse of the involved
technologies, and partners, visit us on ENLIT 2022 in Frankfurt, starting Nov
29th until Dec 1st.
As every year there
will be keynote speeches, HUB sessions, product presentations, and most
importantly: think tanks to enable participation when it comes to tackling the
most pressing energy issues.
Sustainability in additive manufacturing
What does truly environmentally friendly additive manufacturing look like? Using a few selected stations, our experts will explain how digitalization, efficient use of resources and cross-industry collaboration are creating sustainable additive manufacturing: With more efficient production processes, sustainable design and a resilient supply chain, additive manufacturing is helping to achieve climate goals and shape an environmentally friendly industry.Experience at our booth (D119, Hall 12.1) how Siemens brings together the real and the digital world to realize sustainable additive manufacturing.
Thus, the potential of additive manufacturing is manifold:
- More efficient production and more resilient supply chains through print-on-demand and digital warehousing.
- Quickly repair and improve products instead of replacing them
- Optimized product design thanks to completely new construction methods
- Improved material efficiency, circular economy and carbon footprint
- Individualization and industrialization at the same time - infinitely scalable production from lot size one to mass production
Almost 10 billion
people will live on our planet by 2050, most of them in urban areas. About 40
percent of all energy used globally is consumed in buildings, and another one
third by industries. But resources are finite.
Resilient, adaptive, and efficient infrastructure, enabled by digitalization,
is key to sustainability. Taking action to tackle climate change and other
global sustainability issues is an urgency. With buildings and electrification
increasingly growing together and becoming more and more digitalized, they can
support the sustainable infrastructure transition and create more livable
environments.
At the Light +
Building 2022 trade fair, Siemens will showcase its vision of digitalization as
the key pillar of the infrastructure transition. Our motto at the show is
“Smart infrastructure is sustainable infrastructure”, outlining our innovations
that will make this possible.
Visit us at Light + Building 2022 in Frankfurt am
Main, October 2 - 6, in hall 11.0, B56.
Under the motto
"Accelerate
digitalization for a sustainable tomorrow", Siemens will be presenting
solutions at AMB Stuttgart on how to accelerate digitalization in the machine
tool industry, optimize the sustainability of CNC manufacturing and improve the
user experience. Thanks to the continuous analysis of manufacturing data, there
is enormous optimization potential for machine tools.
You can
experience the Siemens solutions and experts live at the AMB booth (Hall C2 | 2B03)
in Stuttgart.

Challenges and opportunities in the energy systems require a new smart, more adaptable grid infrastructure. Today, power grid operation is a complex task: Volatile power generation and multi-directional power flows from distributed, increasingly renewable sources and prosumers call for a smarter approach. With digital solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds we integrate intelligence across the energy value chain in systems and operations. We help connect grids, buildings, and industries enhancing efficiency and sustainability. We shape grids that are reliable and resilient, that integrate and manage renewables and that operate increasingly autonomous. These responsive grids support the sustainable energy transition, help provide affordable energy to society and our customers to stay competitive in an ever changing world. During Europe´s largest energy related trade show Enlit, which took place in Milan, Italy, Siemens presented its technological solutions to these challenges.
