The team doctor, Volker Braun, uses the Acuson NX3 allround system to complement the portable Acuson P500. The Acuson NX3 features a particularly intuitive and easy to use control panel and offers innovative solutions to improve the ultrasound workflow. In addition to a transducer for ultrasound joint examinations, a high-frequency transducer with frequencies of up to 16 MHz gives the medical department at FC Bayern Munich the opportunity to display extremely fine injuries in the near field. The system also enables examinations of the cardiovascular system. The Acuson NX3 is fitted with a large (21.5") LED monitor and a 10.4" touchscreen.
The Acuson P500 portable ultrasound system enables reliable and fast imaging by combining reliable and innovative imaging technology in a system that is both compact and easy to use. That makes it ideally suited for applications in emergency medicine, sports, and general medicine, to provide initial clarification of injuries even directly in the stadium. The ultrasound system has a compact 15'' notebook format, weighs less than 8 kg (18 lb.) including batteries, is ready to run in 30 seconds, and can scan for up to 60 minutes in battery mode, allowing it to be easily transported and positioned in any clinical setting, thereby helps doctors make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
The compact and intuitively operated Cios Fusion C-arm system is used mainly in orthopedics. Thanks to cutting-edge Full View FD technology, the system offers much higher coverage of the viewing field than comparable conventional image intensifiers, especially under image rotation. Cios Fusion generates distortion-free images that show anatomical structures with a good level of differentiation thanks to high grayscale resolution.
Multix Fusion Max is a universal digital X-ray system with a mobile wireless flat panel detector. The ability to use the detector so flexibly makes imaging for orthopedic examinations easier. Pre-set imaging parameters and super-fast image previews speed up the examination process significantly. The high dose efficiency of the detector and expanded image processing also make it possible to reduce the patients' radiation exposure.
